Kelly VanderBeek

An Olympian & World Cup Medallist in both Downhill & Super G with 13 years on our Canadian National Team, Kelly VanderBeek has since transitioned into a professional Broadcaster, Corporate Speaker, and emcee.  Her TV work has been highlighted by such roles as CBC’s Host for the 2018 Olympic Games Overnight in Korea, as well as the prime-time host for the Calgary Stampede, Red Bull’s Crashed Ice, and many more sporting events across multiple platforms.

Kelly's roles as an emcee and keynote speaker have also taken her in front of a wide range of audiences.  This includes the Mountain Travel Symposium with over 6,000 attendees, to a multi-day Make It Safe conference in Vancouver, as well as smaller audiences like that of OMERS’ executive team.   On Kelly’s quieter side of life, she is married to 5-time Olympian David Ford and has a son who is diving head-first into life & sport.  She also volunteers extensively and is a long-time artist who loves photography and runs her own business at Beginnings By Kelly.
