\u201cAs an industry, the time to proactively tell our story is now. Sport Tourism goes beyond just the arena or venue to contribute to building strong economies and communities across the country. There is a new winning formula for hosting that includes cultural activations, new technologies, and leading the way on local environmental and social impacts. Tourism Canada is looking forward to working with Inventa to deliver an impactful Congress that will advance our industry\u2019s objectives and help us maximize the benefits for our country, communities and sports.\u201d says Janet Guthrie, STC Board Member, SEC23 Working Committee and Sport Tourism Coordinator for the City of Leduc.<\/p>\n
